REMOVING WATER FROM OIL

In the movie, dirty transformer oil is filtered by using our 2 micron DEPTH FILTER SYSTEM. As can be seen, dirt in the dirty oil sample does not settle for a long time. 

DEPTH DILTER system is different from Surface Filters in that, oil flows through a much thicker windings providing 4-5 times filtration in one pass compared to conventional SURFACE filter elements. 

The movie shows effectiveness of the filter in removing fine particles under 10 micron that can not be captured by OEM on-board filter elements.

Water in oil is a big threat for bearings and critical hydraulic components such as pumps, valves and so on.

Normally oil and water don't mix, they need to be well agitated. Water will settle at the bottom. But when pumped, water will be dispersed in oil in micronic particles (Emulsify) and give the oil a cloudy appearance (like orange juice).

Our water absorbant elements will remove water from the oil as can be seen in the movie.
